Roisin Kelleher
Director, NI
Róisín’s background is in the creative media and applied communications industry. She has 20 years’ experience, encompassing a range of positions in Irish broadcasting, production, management and senior management and across a variety of genres in radio, tv, and digital for which she has collected multiple awards. Her main focus has been radio, drama, multi-platform education, and commissioning, significantly contributing to developing and supporting the burgeoning media industry in Northern Ireland. She has also held key assessment and mentoring roles and has delivered several aspirational, one-off and ongoing CPD training programs to the sector across the island.Róisín began professional training in holistic healthcare in 2005 and also now works as a therapist and personal process facilitator, primarily integrating body-mind psychotherapeutic techniques with Somatic Experiencing. She has been inspired by her many local and international teachers from the complimentary, medical and mental health communities with whom she trained and is passionate about supporting a state of well-being amongst those who work as front-line professionals, caregivers, therapists, and managers, particularly those affected by post-traumatic stress. Róisín is also especially interested in the influence of trauma on individuals and their groups and how this can impact and shape a society collectively – psychologically, emotionally, physically, spiritually and economically.

For over 35 years, Mr. Kotick has brought leadership, creativity and integrity to the nonprofit sector in Greater Los Angeles serving in such capacities as C.E.O. of Family Health Care Centers of Greater Los Angeles, Vice President for Community Programs for the Greater Los Angeles Affiliate of the American Heart Association and Executive Director of the Center for Health Care Rights. Experienced in healthcare, advocacy, and services to diverse populations, Kotick has also been a Delegate to the California Conference on Handicapped Individuals and the California State House Conference on Aging. Kotick has contributed to California State legislation including the “Torres-Felando Long Term Care Reform Act”. A graduate of the University of Southern California with a J.D. and B.A. degree in political science, John Kotick lives in Los Angeles, California.

Jonathan is a Graduate of Queen’s University. He has been a Solicitor since 1980. He is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and of the Belfast Solicitors Association. In 2015, he was appointed a Specialist Arbitrator by Sports Resolutions UK. He lectures regularly on conveyancing; also on trusts. In the voluntary section, he has served on Committee at MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) both on Players and Fixtures (1998-2006) and most recently (2012-2015) Membership and General Purposes. He has also served on the Commercial Committee of Cricket Ireland (2011-2015). He is Honorary Solicitor to the Belfast Jewish Community. He is a former partner (1994-2015) and senior partner (2013-2015) at Harrisons Solicitors. In July 2015, he founded Hool Law Limited with Victoria McLean, Iain McGonigle and Anthony Murphy and the bulk of the Harrisons staff.

Denny Elliot

Denny has been working in the Voluntary and Community Sector for 30 years at both director and senior management level. A former Peace and Conflict Studies student at Magee Campus University at Ulster he also studied Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations at Queens and strategic Management at Boston College. He began life in the sector with Amnesty International before Joining Concern Worldwide and then moving on to become a Regional Manager with Save the Children Fund and then Director of Oxfam Ireland. Denny was also Director of Fundraising and Communications with Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke Association for 8 years creating and developing new and innovative income streams from the organization such as legacies, donations in lieu of flowers and community event. Denny Established Redsocks Consulting in 2005 specializing in Strategic Management and Capital and Income Generation. Redsocks have worked on some of the biggest capital and revenue projects in the voluntary sector such as the MAC Arts Centre Belfast, Somerton Road Adult Hospice Belfast and Horizon West Children’s Hospice in Fermanagh. During this period Denny successfully established a ‘Friends’ of Northern Ireland group in both the House of Lords and New York and developed partnerships with some of the biggest Trusts and Foudnations in the UK. Redsocks have generated over £15 million in the last 10 years for client organizations and over the last 18 months have expanded into the international arena, breaking new ground in philanthropy and development which has involved working in the USA developing client partnerships with various universities, museums, hospitals, libraries, individuals, and businesses to establish opportunities which enable access to global giving foundations, such as Atlantic Philanthropies, The Clinton Foundation, The Oak Foundation and the Bloomberg Foundation. Denny is now Head of Self Help Africa NOrthern Ireland with responsibility for the delivery of Irish Aid Funded Programmes in Teso Uganda. Denny has been a Steering Group Committee Member of Changemakers since 2019. Denny is a Trustee of the Human Health Project.

Alyssa O’Driscoll brings over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector to her role as a Board Director at Human Health Project. With a deep commitment to advancing public health initiatives, Alyssa has worked with a variety of organizations, focusing on program development, strategic planning, and community engagement.
Throughout her career, Alyssa has successfully led numerous initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes. Her expertise in fundraising and stakeholder collaboration has been instrumental in driving impactful projects and fostering sustainable partnerships.
Alyssa holds her Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Kentucky, Master of Public Administration and Master of Business Administration from DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management, and most recently her graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management from Harvard University, Division of Continuing Education. She also holds her Certified Fund Raising Executive credential.

Laura Bartus is the Chief Learning Officer for the Human Health Project and the head of learning and development for CenterWell Pharmacy, a division of Humana. At the Human Health Project, Laura helps the organization set near-term and future strategy, scale up its patient education programs, and increase its reach to new groups of patients and caregivers. At Humana, Laura’s teams create, deliver, and track learning and development programs for the pharmacy organization’s 12,000 associates. This includes dispensing sites, call centers, professional tracks, and Pharmacists and Pharmacy Techs. Laura’s organization effectiveness team tracks operational results and develops learning metrics strategy to improve their business impact. Laura leads development sessions for leaders and associates across the enterprise, and also externally at many industry events. Laura is passionate about coaching, providing employees with equitable advancement opportunities, building up a robust talent pipeline, and helping her team to be a valued partner to the business.
Laura started out as a high school English teacher, teaching and learning a ton from some amazing teens. In the corporate world, Laura has done nearly every job in learning, moving through design, facilitation, and many leadership roles. She has been involved with several volunteer organizations. She has four crazy children – two of which are twins and three of which are boys. So she also has a crippling coffee addiction, and she really loves work trips. She finds sanity through taking hikes and reading new books. Don’t get her started on dad jokes, because it will delay your meeting for at least five minutes.

A high-tech storyteller, truth seeker, trained broadcast journalist, trained public health professional and trained engineer, Geetha comes to HHP with a passion for patient advocacy and patient empowerment. She seeks to spend her professional career in mission-driven organizations empower patients with information that can reduce healthcare costs, drive longevity and happiness.
Geetha’s education and experience in the corporate world took a windy path that eventually coalesced into product management. With an engineering background, she worked as technical project manager for four years learning the ins and outs of software development management. She then took a huge leap of faith to study journalism, which led her to CNN Health and local news. At the local news station she found herself in her element. Opting to go off broadcast TV and start her social media health channel, Geetha covered public health topics with a twist. She studied her audience with data, learned what made them tick, when and how they wanted to consume news. This drove her audience and fans and she continued to curate and push content that empowered people to live healthier lives.
She then went back to school again to study public health (epidemiology and public policy and management). While working on generating content at Staywell (now WebMD), Geetha ventured into product where she powered patient education materials for patients at their doctor’s office. This drove her into multiple product roles, as Director of Product for BioIQ (now, LetsGetChecked) and NoxHealth, focusing on sleep health and sleep apnea. Prior to the pandemic, she joined Livongo to drive the strategy and execution of their mental health offering. She was part of one of the largest acquisitions in health tech history (Teladoc Livongo) where overnight, she was challenged to build out one of the largest clinical grade stepped care mental health apps at a time when mental health was wreaking havoc in our nation. Now Geetha is at Walmart Health leading the strategy and execution of Walmart’s omnichannel health strategies layering Walmart virtual care services over Walmart clinics.
Health care and health policy is in Geetha’s DNA. She’s ready to take it on with a love for people, and passion for empowerment.

Erica Andrews current areas of interest are in the fields of Computer Science and Psychology. She’s practiced these fields in her undergraduate education and for the past two and a half years. She is interested in combining both fields of her interest toward a position that allows her to practice and apply what she has learned. She has been a student for practically her whole life and drawn toward education and things related for as long as she can remember. She has explored many fields on its surface in order to discover whether the first educational field introduced would only capture her interest. However, being involved in a field related to mental health will allow her to apply what she has personally learned from her past, her experiences, and the past and experiences of others. Thisidea has drawn her toward assisting an organization in the field of health as much as she can in order to gain referrals and experience networking. Although her interests have guided her toward assisting many organizations in various fields, she assumes it will be an honor to contribute toward the field that initially captured her interest. She started practicing with computer programming languages about two and a half years ago by reading and writing code. After programming for a while, she began to take an interest in Web Development and Web Design. She began to create websites and eventually found her first internship as a Web Developer. She completed her first internship and eventually found another as a Web Designer. While interning, she practiced reading and writing programs and becoming better at understanding the various tools that can be applied toward creating a website. She learned a lot and is happy to know that she will always have more to learn in the technical field. She eventually discovered positions that have captured her current interest in order to apply both of her majors, Computer Science and Psychology. She hopes to explore these positions in the future as she continues to practice. She is not sure whether she will ever get the chance to benefit the health field by discovering or creating something unique. If so, she imagines it would be a wonderful experience. She has gone from studying the mental health field since a child, to exploring different types of fields out of curiosity, to diving into the technical field to see whether she may find assistance toward mastering her first field of interest. She has presently applied both fields to her activities and practices and hopes for the future to continue to learn.

Chief Learning Officer
Laura Bartus is the Chief Learning Officer for the Human Health Project and the head of learning and development for CenterWell Pharmacy, a division of Humana. At the Human Health Project, Laura helps the organization set near-term and future strategy, scale up its patient education programs, and increase its reach to new groups of patients and caregivers. At Humana, Laura’s teams create, deliver, and track learning and development programs for the pharmacy organization’s 12,000 associates. This includes dispensing sites, call centers, professional tracks, and Pharmacists and Pharmacy Techs. Laura’s organization effectiveness team tracks operational results and develops learning metrics strategy to improve their business impact. Laura leads development sessions for leaders and associates across the enterprise, and also externally at many industry events. Laura is passionate about coaching, providing employees with equitable advancement opportunities, building up a robust talent pipeline, and helping her team to be a valued partner to the business.
Laura started out as a high school English teacher, teaching and learning a ton from some amazing teens. In the corporate world, Laura has done nearly every job in learning, moving through design, facilitation, and many leadership roles. She has been involved with several volunteer organizations. She has four crazy children – two of which are twins and three of which are boys. So she also has a crippling coffee addiction, and she really loves work trips. She finds sanity through taking hikes and reading new books. Don’t get her started on dad jokes, because it will delay your meeting for at least five minutes.

She has worked in healthcare, homecare, and currently works in the pharmaceutical industry. Lauren holds a master’s from Columbia University in Social-Organizational Psychology. Lauren is passionate about shaping the experiences of employees in a way that enables them to bring their best selves to work. In addition to her professional goals of building engaged workforces, Lauren is extremely passionate about patient advocacy and the patient experience. She believes patients need to be better heard by healthcare providers, and aims to use her skillset to support causes that put patients first. In addition to volunteering for causes that matter to her, Lauren enjoys spending time playing the drums and with her two pit-bull rescues.

His expertise includes developing and executing effective advertising plans, including on and offline media strategy and placement, creative development, and ongoing reporting and optimization. He has held marketing management roles for several major U.S. brands, from Hospitality to Healthcare. His most recent experience has been developing and executing demand generation plans for large managed care organizations, with the goal of expanding health coverage to individuals and families, particularly among underserved communities. He also has extensive online event marketing experience.

Additionally, she has gained professional experience in private practice, assisted living, and hospital settings through a variety of direct patient care roles. Vanessa graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, minors in Chemistry and Neuroscience, a certificate in Conceptual Foundations of Medicine, and a Global Distinction. As a member of HHP, she hopes to improve health equity and education dissemination for minority, immigrant, and under-represented populations while working to minimize negative effects of systemic issues within healthcare. Outside of the professional setting, Vanessa is passionate regarding the usage of gardening and ecological stewardship as methods of lessening food insecurity and improving environmental health determinants.
